We work hard to ensure that the individual needs of all travelers passing through the Sault Ste. Marie Airport are met. Despite it being built in the 1980’s, our terminal has been upgraded many times; each time making it easier for all travelers to flow through comfortably.

We have designed each renovation and expansion to closely follow the Canadian Transportation Agency’s

• Audible and visible fire notification system.
• Universal exit signage
• Accessible way finding signage, including braille

• Wheelchair accessible aircraft boarding ramps
• Wheelchair accessible ground transportation available
• TTY public telephone
• Trained staff
• Accessible washroom facilities 

If you require special assistance, please contact your air carrier.  They are well equipped to ensure that your travel experience is safe, simple, and comfortable.
