The holiday season is one of the busiest and most exciting times of year at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport. Not only are people coming and going, but visitors will also encounter the sounds of the season and holiday décor as they come through the airport!

Holiday Concert Series – Live musical performances by local musicians are happening throughout the week before Christmas. The performances will take place in the terminal building between the arrivals and departures lounges.

Call for Local Performers, Choirs and Choruses

We’re excited to announce our second annual Holiday Concert Series at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport and invite local musicians, performers, choirs and choruses-including elementary, secondary, barbershop groups, carolers and more-to join us for this festive celebration!

Event Details:

• Event: Holiday Concert Series
• Location: Sault Ste. Marie Airport (between the Arrivals and Departures areas or inside Hogan’s Homestead Café)
• Dates: December 8 to December 19, 2025
• Performance Time Slots: 12:00PM, 2:30PM.
• Duration: Each performance will last roughly one hour.

We’re eager to showcase a variety of musical talents to spread holiday cheer throughout our terminal. Whether you’re a solo artist, a part of a school choir, brass band, community group, or barbershop ensemble, your participation will help create a joyful atmosphere for travelers and visitors alike.

How to Apply:

• Requirements: Please provide a brief description of your group, including the type of ensemble, age range or demographics, number of members, and any specific repertoire or performance needs along with your preferred performance date and time slot.

Selected groups will receive a small honorarium and will enjoy a memorable opportunity to perform in this unique public setting. We’ll assist in providing the necessary logistical support to ensure your performance is smooth and enjoyable.
