Requirements:
Knowledge and Skills • Must have Grade 12 or equivalent • Must have and maintain a Class “DZ” driver license, or the ability to obtain one • Must have a proven safe and efficient record in operating and maintaining heavy equipment • Must qualify to receive an Airside Restricted Area Pass • Must be able to acquire Industry Canada Radio licence for airport use within 30 days • Must be able to acquire AVOP for airport use within 30 days • Must be able to complete the Winter Operations MDO program • Must be able to enroll in and complete ARFF certification Training • Knowledge of heavy equipment and heavy equipment combinations • Ability to perform work in unsupervised conditions • Ability to complete Airport Health and safety program during probation period • Ability to effectively deal with co-workers • Ability to perform physical labor • Effective interpersonal relationships • Satisfactory health, attendance and former employment history
