Passenger Travel Update
Air Canada has reached a tentative agreement with CUPE, the union representing its flight attendants. As a result, operations will gradually restart today. Flights are expected to begin departing this evening; however, it may take several days for the airline’s schedule to fully return to normal. Some cancellations are still possible over the next 7–10 days while operations stabilize.
For YAM travellers, Air Canada Express flights operated by Jazz and PAL are not affected and continue to operate on schedule to and from Sault Ste. Marie. Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge flights are gradually resuming, though some cancellations may continue in the coming days.
Air Canada is offering flexible options for affected customers. Eligible passengers may rebook at no additional charge or request a refund or travel credit. Full details, including FAQs, are available directly from Air Canada.
Travellers are reminded to check their flight status before arriving at YAM. For the latest updates, please visit www.aircanada.com.
